Verite Films develops and produces original television and film programming. What sets us apart from others is our knack for finding and telling unique stories that resonate with audiences.

Kent Youngblood founded Verite Films in 2003 after working with some of television’s most acclaimed news programs (America’s Most Wanted, the MacNeil Lehrer News Hour, Inside Edition) and noted sports broadcasters (Fox Sports, NBC, ABC and ESPN). As Executive Producer at Verite, he oversees creative development and promotion of all original productions. To date, he has successfully launched several new unscripted series.

When not working on projects, Youngblood devotes considerable time to experimental filmmaking. His work has garnered notable media attention and won awards at festivals around the country. Several films have had theatrical runs in Denver, New York, Los Angeles and Washington DC as well as screenings in cities all over Europe, Asia and Africa.

Youngblood also provides commentary on the entertainment industry at large through his blog on Facebook and sites such as The Wrap and Huffington Post.
